This classic Fiat 500 has been treated to a full body restoration. The car was taken to bare metal, treated and resprayed in one of the most desirable colours on the original Fiat palette (Fiat 214 Avorio Chiaro).

All doors, bonnets and gaps are smooth and aligned. Care was taken during the restoration to replace all body seals, ensuring that they are soft and tight to provide the necessary insulation from the outside.

All chromed parts shine very bright with brand new components including front and rear bumper, bumper spacers, wing mirrors and headlight rims.

The interior was also completely restored, with period-correct dark hazel seat covers providing a great contrast with the light body colour.

The more desirable exposed dash and round speedo make this 500 stand out from the rest of the market as it is one of the lower-production units models (F). The dash has all the correct switches and lights fitted, with no additional accessories mounted over time. The white steering wheel is also in great conditions, and matches the originality of the car.

The car is fitted with period correct rubber flooring (£499 RRP) and rubber floor mats to match the originality of the rest of the car (notice, early F-model cars did not have moquette-type carpets)

Door cards, rear shelving, roof lining are also period-correct and match the rest of the interior. They have also all been replaced during the comprehensive restoration.

This Fiat 500 is fitted with its original, unmolested 499cc engine and drivetrain to retain its originality and character.

The engine was completely overhauled alongside the restoration and has been maintained maniacally ever since.

The car has gone through a major service 10 miles ago (£599) that took care of:

– New Distributor cap

– New rotor

– New points

– New condenser

– New air filter

– New HT leads

– Oil replacement

– New spark plugs

It starts with half a crank, performs extremely well in the heat or in cold mornings.
